There are many different types of resources such as newspapers, magazines, books, and websites that you can choose from. Yet, you can specifically define what type of recourses you wish to use. For example, if you wanted to only use newspaper articles to find information, you would uncheck all of the other boxes other then the one listing newspapers.

Advanced Search
To go to the Advanced Search section of the database, you simply press the link labled Advanced Search next to the search box in Basic Search. When Advanced Search appears, it is obviously more complicated then the Basic Search. With the Advanced Search, you can choose which types of recources you wish to use such as in the Basic Search. You can also choose to "Include newspaper articles older than 90 days" and "Search within scholarly journals only". Another main part of the Advanced Search is that you can search for a specific article, website, or book. You can find this by stating all or any of the following sections: Date Range, Topic, Document Language, Document Title, Author Name, Reading Level, and Publication name. This helps when searching for a research article if it was not already recorded.
We also performed an advanced search on global warming. We typed the topic global warming in the search box but only chose to get information from newspaper articles and magazines, so we unclicked the other boxes. Although we did not know any author and any other titles for articles, we performed an advamced search. 25 out of 400 results came up. There were 75 newspaper results and 325 magazine results.
Performing a search on eLibrary database is a great way to receive valuable and true information quickly.
